OP here with an update. After the 5th try, I finally make it through the initial screening, and the system shows a score of 1028 (my Ph.D degree is not assessed yet). Not sure what this score means in relative terms? Does anyone have an idea? Two things: 1) spouse test score is not mandatory...

What if I simply don't enter the Ph.D. degree from the U.S.? It does not seem to cost me a lot of points according to the document. The ineligible thing seems to be generated from an automated process. Not sure what went wrong. I think it would be more useful if CIC could provide feedback on...
