Anybody got any advice on what to do if you haven't received an acknowledment receipt? It's been four months since I sent it. I'm applying through common-law from within Canada. Every time we've called they tell us something different. Anyone else having an issue around the same time?

I sent my PR application October 29th and still have not heard from them! Three different calls to CIC with three different answers. One saying it could take 18months for them to even look at the visa! Anyone else in the same boat?? Or advice on how toget a real answer.
