Today I officially became a PR after completing the landing at Montreal Airport... My wife and I arrived from the US and we were kinda worried cuz the connecting time in Montreal was only an hour and a half and we werent sure if we were gonna be able to do the landing and catch our connecting...

Hi hariraj !! Is it ok to show a letter of employment and pay stubs as pof when doing landing if you are leaving canada and coming back through an airport ?

I just received my COPR with the visa by mail !!! :D ;D :P The visa expirey date is 13/1/2017 which means i got plenty of time to land ... Good luck to people still waiting !!

I had to go through the same long process like u ... its been 7 years for me though !! student, post grad. work permit and ill be landing later

The return tracking number has been activated today :) passport is on its way back with the COPR !! will be going to the US for holidays and landing on my way back sometime late June

1. I applied in April and got the reminder email in November 2. Sometimes they do ask for updated PCC if you application goes beyond the 1 year mark cuz they are only valid for one year i think ... In my case i got PPR exactly 1 year after i aplied ...they never asked for updated PCC

when i sent my application i wasn't sure whether i should send one or not so i ended up sending it anyways

She can still go to the US and do the landing on her way back ... she wont be rejected for not having PR card this way
