Received the much coveted PPR mail yesterday - 164 days after AOR!

Last evening

162 days after AOR, background check finally changed to "in progress". I hope PPR isn't too far now.

That's because I filled in my profile info assuming that my VO would be New Delhi.

Mine was done almost 4 months after AOR. And there was no further update for a month (the time my gcms notes got generated). What's interesting is that my file hasn't been tranferred to my local VO yet despite my case being FSW outland.

I ordered mine from www.visafile.info and received them in about a month's time. It's pretty convenient and costs $25. If you can't find a canadian resident to apply for the notes on your behalf, this is probably the best option.

131 days since AOR!! The wait continues....

I recall reading somewhere that it is not advisable to create multiple profiles. Can't find the link right now.

Another option is visafile.info. Costs almost the same and I got mine in 30 days.

In my case, the eligibility got updated to passed on the same day that I received AOR. That status hasn't changed since then.

131 days since AOR!! no update since medicals passed. So frustrating!! I can only imagine how bad it must be for those who have been waiting for longer than 6 months.

Hi, My passport has my Given Name as <First name> <Middle Name> and Surname as <Last name> but some of my documents, ( ECA, degree certificate, bank statement, employment letter) omitt the middle name. Will a letter of explanation suffice to explain this discrepancy or do I need a notarized...

Thanks. The letter is on the official letterhead and has all contact details. The letter doesn't mention the full-time nature of the job though. I hope my designation, duties, and the pay grade will suffice to convey that it's full-time.

Hi Asviad, I've managed to get a reference letter from my employer. But there are a couple of issues. It doesn't mention the number of hours worked per week and I don't have the business card of the HR manager who signed the letter. Should I be concerned?
