I believe it's been asked before, but I could not find the answer for it. I was able to link my spouse's (principal applicant) application, but mine cannot be found. I've called CIC and they've even given me my application number, but I can't link it at all. How is that possible?

Is the COPR a permit? Does it give status for somebody without it in Canada? I mean, before the landing.

This was not spousal sponsorship, it was an Express entry, in which my spouse is included. I'm just wondering if in his case we should just send an explanation that he can't get a passport instead.

Mine says this: RCMP Criminal Record Check: Please provide an RCMP Certified Criminal Record Check based on fingerprints. Please check the CIC website (How to obtain a police certificate - Canada) and refer to the criminal record check link. And I'm CEC Inland. No updates yet.

They take your fingerprints and run it in their database to see if there's a match. That's the 'PCC'. But you're only supposed to send that if they request it.
