no update on my parents file either from Vancouver office. applied 1 oct 2021, last I heard was sponsor approval in Sep 2022 and then file transferred to Vancouver. Going to pass 23 months of processing time (this is what its showing currently) in 10 days. :(

I have checked the processing time today and it shows 23 months (outside QC). My parents file submitted on 01 October 2021 so 01 September 2023 will be 23 months but i have not received any medical request, pcc request or any other update! I am convinced that it will take longer than 23 or 24...

I live in GTA and my file was forwarded to Vancouver office on Sep 28th. Applied 01 Oct 21. After reading the Vancouver office processing trends, i do not see my file moving anytime soon !! All the best to all in same boat.

I had exactly the same request, my dad needed biometerics while my mom's were done last year for super visa renewal so i only paid for one intially...I repaid the fee to avoid any delays and sent the receipt. as later on, i can always get refunded.
