Right now I Hav funds in indian rupees currency. May be I will convert them into Canadian dollars and I think I can carry 10k with me and 3k I'm thinking to show bank statement but m not sure yet. I actualy want to carry just 2-3 thousand cad with me and my parens can transfer money if I needed...

It was through express entry. Mechanical engineer 2132 noc. My score was 472. Got picked iwhen draw was at 459. It was pretty fast. I couldn't believe when RPRF and pp req came in same email and everything went well. Thank god

VISA filed and AOR:14 Oct Medical passed:15 Oct Schedule A request:19 Oct RPRF: 21 Oct RPRF paid: 26 Oct PPR: 26 Oct Passport sent via vfs on 27 Oct but still havnt received it back :( Still waiting and tracking vfs many times a day :( still status showing is processing

I got ppr after 13 days. :P But still havnt received my passport back from visa office yet. It's already been almost 3 weeks. Can anybody suggest how long they should take normally after passport request? Thanks

No, I actualy got it.. I Hav received RPRF and ppr request together in same email and sent my passport the very next day.
