My spouse is a filipina residing in Taiwan. We got married there last April, she has been approved (outland) & will be arriving in Canada in May to be with me. Just wondering if there is any point in registering the marriage with Philippine authorities. We'll be living in Canada.

If it's an outland sponsorship he has to leave Canada, then come back & go through immigration. We got the PPR about a week after the successful interview.
