Some update I would like to share..some good news My friend had applied for PR (QSW) in March 2018 and he just received medical request today!! Finally (and hopefully) they started processing paper based applications (! ?)

I had applied for PR (QSWP) in Oct 2018 and received Pre-arrival letter on Feb 2020 (first week) and nothing since then. The applications "Estimated time of completion" will be 100% by end of this month. My open work permit is also going to expire on 2nd October and I have lost my job as well...
