We almost lost hope here to. Applied in september 2015, Dual intent, On, they had the interview in January, and the officer was keep asking for documents.....The employer is calling them almost every week, and all they say is that "is still in process". Is really crazy the time that we are...

Congratulations!!! What a great news for you! We are STILL waiting, and the process started september 1.....with interview mid january and add pappers sent. There still a hope...Enjoy Canada!

You don't have to sign anything on the LMIA application. It is the employer who have to sign and talk to SC.

wow! I'm so sorry to hear that i got rejected... after so much stress and time, is just so not fair! I have the same time of waiting. They call the employer AGAIN and ask for the advertise posting.... So next week maybe will finally have news.

Yes, the year has finally begun for SC! I just hope they're in a good mood and in 2016 will have more positive LMIA's, because last year for what I now, was not a great one for many, and the waiting time is incredibly long.Let it be a great year for all of us who we are waiting to finally get to...

Yes, is the second time they asked for additional documents. First time it was end of October and last week. Don't really know exactly what they wanted first, but I remember the employer said it was something he already sent to them. I'll keep you guys updated. Fingers crossed!

He signed the contract at the end of august, and I think the LMIA is named ( not sure though), since at the interview that lady asked him many questions about him and his skill level...

Great news that they finally got the interview! We had ours on mondey, send the additional documents this week.... Let's see what happens next. I hope that next week we will have some good news all! Good luck to us!

Dual intent Ontario, noc. 7283- tile setter(my husbands), papers sent to St.Johns on sept 1 2015, recived file nr. Sept 17. They want his employer to send the company's financial situation, to show that they can afford to pay him, or something like that....i just pray that will all turn out...

week 18 since file nr. On monday they call the employer and had the interview. He said the lady was very nice and they stay on the phone for 45 min. At the end she had my employer send more add. Info in the next 5 days..... Hope that next week will have some good news

So here is my timeline so far...paperwork sent on september 1, received file nr on september 17. So far no news...Noc 7283 tilesetter ( my husband)dual intent. Ontario. Right now we're in Romania waiting. Good luck to you all, and maybe the new government will make this LMIA process easier soon...
