Maybe the systems are about to come back online. I have just opened the ECAS page here. After trying a little bit and receiving a couple of error messages of "service unavailable" I finally saw the details of my process, but nothing changed for me. Although I've already received PPR, on ECAS it...

Just to clarify (and avoid misinterpretation), my post wasn't intended to offend him, but rather ask if he is waiting a DM or PPR because it seems quite normal to receive email messages when the status of your process changes to DM or when you receive a PPR.

Are you expecting a PPR or DM? :P

I guess it should be in-house, as they store/process a huge amount of sensitive information. Just a guess...

I am still waiting the LVO here in Brazil reply my email or CSE to send my passport (or CPC-Ottawa reply my message). The funny thing is that I am also planning to land in April! Are you going to Toronto? I will land there. :D For now, I hope they will answer my request asap!

Is it possible to direct a CSE to a specific VO?? As far as I remember on the CSE request page I didn't see a field to set a VO.

I tried calling the local VO here in Brazil but they don't answer the phone or just a machine answers it, telling predefined messages and it tells (more than one time) that over the phone they can't give details about a specific case. :( That said, I have sent an email and I hope they will...

I also sent an email on the same day I gor my PPR but I didn't ask for a read notification (good idea!). I hope that they will reply asap. In my case I need to send the VO/LVO the original passport. :|

Sorry for the off-topic but... Lumen_UK, have you already mailed CPC-Ottawa in order to change your VO (for PR certificate and visa stamp)? Have you already received a response? I mailed them 2 days ago but they haven't replied yet. :(

YEAAAAH! I got my PPR today guys, I can't explain how happy I am! The email from Ottawa arrived at 2AM here (GMT-2:00), so I woke up with the good news! I hope you all get your PPRs as soon as possible! :D

Hi Nebm31... in fact we do have close timelines. I am eagerly expecting a response from CIC with a PPR. I will post here as soon as I receive updates, but the anxiety is terrible. :( I hope everybody here receives a PPR! However, it is quite weird or maybe unfair(?) to see people receiving PPR...

Is there ANY logic behind the PPR processing?? I mean... there are LOTS of people who wait even more than one month between a DM and PPR, while others receive their PPR just ONE DAY after DM! How is it possible? I am happy for these people who receive their PPR really fast, but I think to myself...

The only change I noticed was the status on ECAS. No line was added (on ECAS) and nothing changed on MyCiC.
