Hello Everyone, 1) I am planning to land in Toronto (COPR destination: Calgary) in June or July sometime but only for couple of weeks and apply for PR card, SIN card, open bank account and just roam around. I am planning to give my friend's address in Canada for delivery of these documents...

Finally I received our passport back after stamp on 22nd and a long wait has come to an end !!! :) :) :) The COPR mentions the destination name but is it possible to land at place other than mentioned in COPR ??

I received Ready for Visa email from CPC-Ottawa. The email address mentioned in email body is for Manila VO as I am in South Korea. I think this should be similar to others based on their country of residence who received Ready to visa email.

Thanks Bellaluna... I am going ahead with renewal as Indian embassy in Korea provides passport in 10 days (fast service one) as vfs clearly told Manila VO is very strict in this so better be safe. One more question.. What all do we need to submit in cases where renewed passport is submitted ...

Hi bellalunga, Did Manila VO allow you to submit those passports expiring in 10 months? I called up CIC canada and they said they cant recommend, I need to talk to Manila VO only.

Anyone has contact number for Manila CIC ? I called VFS here in Korea and they said that we need to renew passport since its valid for 2 days less than mentioned 12 months in Ready for Visa email. My VO is Manila as I am residing in South Korea and their email id is mentioned in Ready to visa...
