Hi, I had a PPR on October 14th too. Same as you Pandabear, my CIC and Ecas haven't changed. I'm not in Canada either (France actually). Just to be clear, your visa advisor told you to go to the local Visa Supply office ? Just show up at the adress, papers in hand ? Tell me how that goes !

+1 The six-month period starts at the application, so Salseiro is right. I have a similar timeline to yours, got the same email and change of the "background check" status, on september 28th. Still waiting...
