I'm not worried about entering or leaving Canada via the land border at all. I've already re-entered once at an airport with just my COPR. My question is just to do with when I re-enter the USA by air. Much like Canada does not like non-residents entering the country without onward tickets...

Thanks jhutti. I would hope it would be fine with COPR, proof I'm living in Canada etc but I know what US immigration can be like - especially entering by air without an air or other ticket back out of the country. Hopefully I won't have to risk it and worry during my trip!

Yup! :) How they expect people not to leave the country and return by air for 6 months while they wait for their PR card I don't know! PRTDs are useless a lot of the time because of the time it takes to get one wherever you're going (in most VOs).

We did this too :D Glad it isn't just us somehow not taking photos together! We included a couple of those but they probably weren't necessary. This makes sense (we included gift receipts only where we ordered online and had it shipped overseas to the other)

It never hurts to include an explanation, so personally I would explain why you went and how long you were gone for.

I was in Canada on IEC for several months before we applied outland. I was then working for a few more months on IEC while our application was processed. No problems at all.
