My apologies, should've provided an update a long time ago on this thread. I did get my PR. Changed employment status didn't really have any impact on my PN.

Tracker got activated today morning.. Passports received this afternoon..

My passports were received in Ottawa on 30th.. Tracker just got activated today (15th).. It took 2 weeks.. Don't lose any sleep over it.. You should be getting your passports delivered in a couple of days..

My application status changed to "Approved" yesterday, but postal tracker not activated yet.. I've seen an example in this thread where the tracker wasn't activated till 4 hours prior to the actual delivery of passports.. I wouldn't worry much about the tracker.. One should receive the passports...

myCIC status changed today to "Approved". Had sent the passports on September 29th. Post tracker not activated yet..

I don't think eCAS status will change.. If you don't have access to myCIC, you should check the return tracker..

October 2nd and got it approved already?? Congratulations.... Mine reached there on September 30th and still no change.. Annoying!!!

Don't worry.. You said your consultant received an email and then sent the passports.. that's exactly how it works.. "Decision Made" status you are referring to is on eCAS. The "Approved and Closed" status shows up in myCIC account.. 2 different places..

Interesting... Tracker activation to delivery in 4 hours!! I think we all should just look at the start-to-end dates.. From the receipt of passports in Ottawa to CIC status change is roughly 8 calendar days/ 6 business days .. 2/3 more days after that for delivery of passports..

Hello Champs, Do we get any email for the mycic update of "Approved and closed"? Or do we need to keep checking it?

I didn't check my status for last 2 months. I checked it this week and it shows "Decision Made", not sure when it was updated. On the eCAS home page, the bottom right corner shows a date for "Last updated on". Is it accurate?

Congratulations ssdn! I see that ssdn had submitted the application in May, which means CIC made the decision relatively late, compensating with issuing the PPR quickly.. Any which way, great news!

Thanks Prashant! I received such email on 18th and sometime from then till today, I got "Decision Made" status.. Hopefully I'll receive PPR shortly.. Fingers crossed!!

ITA: May 22 Application submitted: June 19 Application Status: Decision Made - Sometime in last 2 weeks... Wasn't checking regularly.. I see a lot of applicants mentioned a "Ghost email". What does that mean?
