The mailman just came with today's correspondence and there was nothing from CIC. I check my email all the time (even the spam folder) and nothing has come yet :(. I don't know if I should contact the call center or i'm just being paranoid because i'm super desperate now.

I remember there was a few people on this forum waiting to receive news from the Montreal office about landing interviews... Well, I was checking my Ecas and I noticed that on my sponsors side there was a new line stating that they sent correspondence on February 17th which we didn't receive so...

According to the CIC call center, the Montreal office has a delay of 4 to 6 weeks. I got DM on Feb 11th and they told me not to expect to hear from them before March 24th.

Thanks again! I checked the Inland Sponsorship manual that CIC provides which was updated on May 2015 and it says that the Administrative deferral can still be granted. I guess is just a matter of time for me... hopefully I won't have any further issues. Thank you for your answers...

Thank you for your early reply Ponga! I just have another question.... If I got AIP, does that gives me the chance to apply for an OWP which will grant me Implied Status? This way I guess i'll be more safe from being removed... Do you know how long does it take to get COPR once CIC receives...
