Yes..I wasn't sure if this was a standard thing when flying out of the country.. I guess not... i want to be able to work, so will have to have proof/ the physical work permit..- PennyD

VALID work permit removed on exit
My still valid work permit was removed from my passport when i left Canada. Im looking to re-enter and work. My permit was removed, and my application papers are no longer valid... but i should technically still have 12+ months on my visa. has this happened to anyone else? Will i need to...- PennyD

Work permit removed from passport/ wanting to re-enter
My work permit was removed from my passport when I flew to Australia from Canada (by customs/ airport workers) I am looking to re enter Canada on the same visa as I have just over 12 months remaining. Will I need to provide a new federal police check or will the one used 10 months ago be...- PennyD
