They will usually not give any details over phone calls and raising a CSE would also get only a generic reply. Since you have crossed 6 months mark, write to your Visa office or CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca and mark your mail urgent. Another alternative is to order GCMS notes or wait for the PPR :-)...

DM = Decision made PPR = Passport request All communications are through your mycic account or emails. They usually never send post/mails.

That wasn't a ghost email that email was regarding change in your BG check. But since you had checked it already yesterday there was no change.

EMail notifications are usually sent 24 hrs after status update on mycic. You should receive email today mostly. Congrats, PPR is on the way. Keep us posted.

Yes. That doesn't guarantee that you will get PPR either but at least you will know your status in better detail than CSE or a phone call.

CSE will not help either. they will reply you with a standard template saying 6 months is not a binding timeline. or probably saying that they don't need anything from you now if they do they will inform you or other sort of generic message but no concrete date or information regarding your...

It is quite challenging to get a job from abroad unless you have lot of experience or a doctorate in some niche field. I am planning to move there and look around for jobs, of course that means I will quit my current job.

Verification is not the same as Security. Verification of employment or experience, Police certificates is done by CIC agents/officers. If you order GCMS notes you can find out more about it in detail. Look for the keywords R10, A11.2 in your GCMS notes.
