    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

Although my passport does expire August 2017, so that's as far as I'll get unless I can extend. But if not, my wife can work after that. it will just be handy for me to be able to work after she gives birth, since she isn't going to fancy that one bit!

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

Submitted my application TODAY guys! Let the 27 month wait begin! Although I hear lots of information saying Outland is better (I'm from the UK), my wife (the sponsor), is pregnant and due next month, and we decided it would be best to take advantage of the option to work. Alas, the wait sucks...

Fill in the Payer Information section by hand.. nowhere for me to do this?

Yes I'm applying Inland. Although Outland did seem like a better option in many ways, my wife is pregnant and the baby is due at the end of the month, so the choice to be able to work with Inland and not have the risk of having to leave Canada won me over!

Fill in the Payer Information section by hand.. nowhere for me to do this?

Just phoned CIC, they've changed the forms but haven't updated the website apparently.. if anybody else should find themselves in this situation. The receipts have bar codes on now which are sufficient.

Is my wife employed or unemployed if she is on maternity leave?

I have put employed as she is technically with the company, but she is currently on sick leave which will turn into maternity at the end of the month when out child is born. She technically holds a position with the company so we ticked employed and have included our pregnancy information, but...

My receipt is simply that, a receipt. I don't see anywhere where I can fill this information in?

Couple of questions on order of forms

Ah yes, it does say that, I was just slightly unsure as to whether or not it literally meant on top of everything. So all the bar code pages go on the top! :) Thanks for all your help!

Couple of questions on order of forms

yep, I'll re-print my document check list and untick that box also. Makes sense. I was literally ready to send off my application and then I looked it over and had the realisation that I might not be common law if I'm married. I just kinda presumed I would still be considered so! Thanks for the...

Sorry to be a pain. So with that unticked, do I still tick that I have included the proof for common law on the document checklist? Even t hough it's not required, I have still included supporting letter, joint bank account details etc

Couple of questions on order of forms

So all the barcode pages go at the top of they go at the top of each individual form? I've put them at the front of each of the forms. And so, for the form Spouse/common law questionnaire, am I supposed to put No for question 5. Are you in a common law relationship? I put yes, but I am married...

Couple of questions on order of forms

Is there anywhere on the CIC website that states exactly what order everything needs to go in? I'm applying Inland under the spousal route. I know the OWP goes in a separate envelope within the main envelope, and it states the bar codes go at the top. But, do I follow the order of the document...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

My situation in a nutshell: I was here for six months and my wife is pregnant, and we had so much going on, that we didn't quite have everything ready to send off our Inland Application within the six month time frame. I applied to extend my visitor visa so I am currently on Implied Status. If I...

Can I send off Inland application and OWP whilst on implied status?

I explained my situation to her and she still seemed to think it would be fine. But I guess time will tell. Perhaps I should just write a letter of explanation with the OWP also?

Can I send off Inland application and OWP whilst on implied status?

Do CIC generally know what they're talking about when you phone them? The Lady on the phone told me it is fine to send off my OWP and Inland residency at the same time ... but honestly.. she didn't sound sure..

Can I send off Inland application and OWP whilst on implied status?

Ah man.. I feel like I'm screwed in this situation. Perhaps applying Outland would be better? By the time I get the work permit, an outland application might be completed? I just don't want to be split up from my wife and future child. Wow.
