We submitted the photos when we did our landing. Our lawyer knew about the latest spec and asked us to submit in the new format (70x50 and not 45x35). That saved us a lot of time. Hope this helps.

Hi Guys, We landed on Mar 20 submitted the photo with latest spec for all of us. Called CIC after the mentioned days and the person said, it was on the way. I received the first PR card yesterday for my wife. Really excited to get for others. PATIENCE WINS!!! :P :P Cheers

Guys to bring more ray of hope, two of my friends from August, 2014 got their Passport request today. So CIC is slowly working on our applications.. One from beginning of August, 2014 and another submitted on end of august, 2014. So no pattern there.. Keep hope..

I would suggest you to keep everything going until you receive a stamped PR visa from either. After which you can withdraw from the other. I knew how frustrating it will be until you get some positive news.

From June & July applicants forum, I could able to see, most of June applicants are finalized and July applicants are getting near completion.. So yes, we are in queue after them.. Also, in a couple of days, one year gets completed from my AOR received date.. Hope some light is thrown..

I believe our files are being touched one of the reason being the mass email / letters etc we sent long ago. We must do it once again if we are not getting anything by end of January.

apardhamija, I have applied BOWP in July and received it in November end. I am an August 2014 CEC PR applicant. But i received BOWP even before the rule got changed.

This site was last updated on 1st Dec 2015. So, may be the change was applied for applicants applied on or after Dec 1st?

Where was it mentioned? When did you apply for BOWP? I have applied on July and received on November with my PR still "In Progress".
