Hi, I got about the same answer. The agent I spoke to said that call them back in Mid-November if I still haven't received anything. But at the meantime, I think we can remain the implied status of a student and stay in Canada and study. Good Luck!

Oh god. I totally understand you. I can't remember what exactly what they said, but they told me about the same thing, saying it's still being reviewed or still in the process. It's very nerve-racking. :o I really need this study permit extension to stay and finish my study. I do not know how...
