Recived email today that my PR is approved. My Cic login is still showing as pending. Is that normal?

This is the ghost email that every one is talking about. You should expect a decision in the new few days.

Your ECAS will most likely update to decisioned in the next few days. This is what people have referred to as ghost emails. You shouls also receive an email about the uodate in the next 24 hours.

There is no point calling as they will not tell you anything. When i rang they told me that decision made may not be the final decision. It may just be a decision on your background check and they you just need to wait until My Cic updates. Sorry but i'm in the same boat

Finally good decision made in ECAS status. Now just the wait until My CIC updates so i know what the decision is.

Timeline is ITA April 17th, 2015 AOR and submission May 1st, 2015 Document request June 3rd, 2015 Documents provided June 3rd, 2015 Ghost Update in My CIC Sept 15th. I applied under FSW program

Just logged into My CIC account and got an updated on my PR application but have not received any email or anything. My ECAS is still showing as In Process. Is this the ghost notification that people are talking about? If so how long does it normally take for PR to be approved after that?

I completely agree. I was picked up under FSW and now i'm waiting long just to get my PPR approved. This has been ongoing for me since October 2014 when I lodged a paper application only to get rejected 4 months later as they had hit their limit for last year. Hurry up CIC and speed the...

stereo, Looking at what you provided as your current status your PPR is still pending review. I also had document request in early June which I submitted and haven't received any updates since then.
