Hi, does ECAS work for online applications? the new tracker works, but I cant login to ECAS.

I applied online on feb 1st and like everyone else I am still waiting on the AOR. A few questions: 1- When did you apply for the paper one? 2- Does the AOR in any form indicate which application has been acknowledged?

I took my photo at Shoppers, its $19.99 for the photo + $10 to put it on a USB flash disk, they do not offer emailing it and they don't let you get your own USB flash disk (they force you to pay the extra 10 bucks!). Don't ask for a printed copy because they will charge an extra $19.99 for that...

So I went to Costco to request a digital copy of my photos and they said they do not give out digital copies! What a waste! Can anyone recommend a big-box store (Staples, Shoppers, etc.) that gives the digital copies?

That is what I thought myself when I delved into it. You are right, the metadata on the photo will only be available in the original digital photo.

Will the stamp information on the back of the photo be sufficient? It has the name & address and the date in which the photo was taken. They mentioned that it can even be a text file as well

You are right, also it reduces the amount of errors an applicant can make = lesser returned application. I hope they publish the link on IRCC soon, I think it will help speed things up for everyone involved.
