Hi guys Just to give you some perspective- one month before getting PPR, I called CIC and they said my security hadn’t started. Don’t worry if they tell you that, I don’t think the phone agents really have the most up-to-date info.

On the US side, they took my fingerprint and asked personal information like my parents’ place/country of birth. It could have taken 30 minutes.. but the attending officer had never done it before so it took over 2 hours. They read me a bunch of statements that I had to say yes/no too...

Just did my landing!! Feb 3 2017 applicant November 10 - Schedule A request Feb 28th - First medical request March 7 - Second medical request May 7 - Medicals Passed July 6 - PPR (No decision made immediately, got it later) July 10 - Sent my passport July 19 - Got it back July 19 - Landed...

My expiration date is the day my current work permit expires.. may next year. Is that how yours is too?

Yes, they updated my account with my travel document (PR Visa) number yesterday and also included the expiration date. My account status also changed to “approved” on GCkey.

Still waiting. They affixed the visa to my passport yesterday, they just haven’t mailed it out yet.

I got my GCMS notes last month. It said “ready for PS” as my location. I spoke to CIC 2 weeks ago and they told me my security hadn’t started.

Guys, I didn’t get any DMs first. I just got an email to send my passport. I only have 6 lines in my ecas

I didn’t get DM first. My accounts have still not updated. Feb 03 applicant. Passed MR May 7th. Didn’t hear anything until today.

Just got PPR!!!

There was a glitch in the system that caused the first medical request to be invalid. So they resent them approximately 2 weeks later.

Feb 03 2017applicant. First medicals- feb 28 2018 Second medicals - March 12th Medicals passed - May 7th GCMS states, “ready for ps”. No further updates after that.
