A few days ago someone in this forum or elsewhere mentioned that he has started to work with a Canadian lawyer to get rid of using unauthorized agent, will that really save us from the pain of using unauthorized agent? Before getting the pf how about of withdrawing the application?

Exactly. Moreover: Before 2008 >> 133 monrhs (!) Between 2008 - 2010 >> 66 months (!) After Jan, 2015 >> 6 months (!) What is new in here? We have known all this. Its just a quote from the application guideline, what is meant here is "may be" the minimum time to complete.

Regarding ECAS update... Couple of weeks ago, saw a post that now ECAS will update status by 10 lines instead of 4 lines. Even the person showed a screenshot of it. So I think its nothing to worry. Just silently this portion is changed.

A question for experts... As all(?) the VC clients get/will get the PF letter, what to do to avoid it? What will be the consequences if I want to withdraw my application? It is enough to save me from the PF letter? And if all go right (if & only if), then how is the plan to apply in Express Entry?
