Here's my Timeline. Applied by paper application. PGWP extension + Restoration on June 15th Approval- 29th October Mail received- today. All the best guys! I believe with the new government have been formed the processing time is fast.

I would say wait for PNP and then apply for restoration. u can apply for restoration within 90 days and u still have lot time to apply, so its better to wait for 2 weeks before u apply.

Sent an email to CBC go public, hopefully they will be getting lot of PGWP issues through email and will broadcast it soon. stay positive!

Hi guys! AINP apporval May 7,2015 I applied for PR July 10,2015 Got my AOR on the October 16, But my work permit was expired in June and Im on restoration status. since the work processing time is more than 4 months,do you think they will keep processing my PR file or not, is there any hope?

I have been through same situation. They gave me PGWP until passport expiry date and on permit they added a line mentioning I can renew my work permit afeter passport renew. So dont worry you are good.
