I searched several threads and was not able to find a relevant thread. I have submitted my passports at VFS in India. It has been well over 10 days and I am getting worried about the processing delay. I expected 7 working days. Any one in a similar situation? Is there anything that we can do to...

I guess i beat every one on this forum. Mine was in Zurich and it was 525 CHF or about 714 CAD per person.

Hello people, I have recently go the PPR and am waiting for the response to change the visa office to my local office. I am applying from outside of Canada or USA and I have never been to Canada. I think there are quite a few people like me and it would be nice if any outlander in similar...

Got PPR finally. such exciting relief :D Now have to mail CIC asking to change the visa office to my home country. I hope the response is soon enough. Moving on to that thread. Wish all of you guys a speedy ppr!

I too agree with this analysis. I have observed that mates from in-process are moving on to this thread over the past two weeks. I hope this stop-gap does not become yet another limbo ???

Ok, after checking some of the posts here I checked my ECAS too. It says decision made as well. While my cic status still says BG chk in progress. This suspense is going to the next level. :o

Thanks for the reply UKP. I am an out-lander and no second AOR. Yeah our timelines are very similar. The reason I asked the question was that I was jumping the gun in expecting the PPR any moment and was thinking about where should I send my passport :P . My expectation is based on past trend...

Hello people, Sorry, for the tangential post. :) I have a doubt regarding designated visa office for my application. Where do I find this information? Is there any way I can update or change it?

Although I agree that the system tests the limits of ones patience, I dis-agree that there is any other better country as of now, at least for someone who is from Asia like me
