Taking my time here, Planning to purchase my ticket next week and get an early jump on the Dec ticket price,dont plan on packing much clothes since it will be winter time and what i have wont be of much use. Dont know if i should sell my car or keep it....while my wife just wants me there asap...

An important point to note. the UCI number changes after the sponsorship was approve.The 3rd mail that was sent to my email alone had a new UCI number. so its like one UCI# for sponsorship and a different UCI# when your file is transfer and they start working on the PR app.

just think i should add some info here.....this is what i notice during my process, my wife use her email address on her forms and i used mine on my forms, when she submit the app. the 1st two mails went to her only...these were 1) Application receive 2) Application approve/file transfer. Then...

I believe the official time is 4-8 weeks.....but this can be less or even more in some cases

thanks....i believe once you do ur meds upfront and pay all your fees upfront then you bury them under a mountain of evidence to support you relationship, it removes the delays that comes when the office has to request this n that and put ur flie on hold waiting on you n the start work on it...

WES IS BEST.....i was faced with the same decision....after some research, i found out wes is better .....i'll go with the storage course by course elevation....that way you can use it when ever your settled and ready for college( which may not be right way) and also for a job.

sorry to hear abt ur situation, long distance relationships are hard and the last thing you need is a long drawn out process....take refuge in knowing that the end is near....i think the total time for most app. at the POS office is abt 17 months according to the website.

its not normal to ask for an interview after passport request, but it is surely possible!!, go back couple posts and you can see this guy Ravi having to do an interview after sending his passport. they kept his passport for a while and after he inquire abt it, he was request to do an interview.

Im guessing a total of 6months it takes for some ppl, it varies tho, but yours look like its on track for the 6 months ride....they receive my app on Dec 4th 2014( that's in CANADA) and on May 6th 2015 i got my mail requesting my passport/pics and it stated by which date i need to arrive in...
