Yes it is likely PR visa to arrive sometime between Dec 2016 and Feb 2017, assuming the CIC application process starts on July onward and depending on how fast the application will be processed.

Almost 7 months left in 2016 and there is a load of planning that needs to be done before 2017 kicks in. My landing plan is to fly to Saskatoon sometime between April and July 2017. Anyone from IT industry is heading to Saskatoon or Regina next year?

jondam, a member in this forum, submitted an application on 1st Dec, and received a AOR notification on April 8th. That is 130 days. Taking that as a benchmark it could mean applications submitted on 1st February then it could be possible that AOR will arrive as late as 10 June 2016 ... :-/...
