Thread for Outland LONDON, UK Applications!

God I could rant on forever. One last thing, how many times do we see officers at the border having power of giving people a hard time over entry into the country. This exists everywhere in the world. White officers discriminating and targeting the opposite color, even black officers sometimes I...

Oh and one more thing. You might be glad that CIC are enlightened to enough to treat CL and M equally. But what exactly is happening to those applications that are blatantly sent to random offices, just because the officer in charge has the power to do so? Well think about that for a little bit...

I'm happy for you to have to got it processed in Canada. All the best. And that's exactly my point. Every...

Thread for Outland LONDON, UK Applications!

Oh my word. If you had been following my post in regards to common law vs married was for Poggyb's situation. It was a question, I was hoping to understand this individuals situation i.e. is it unique, are there reasons why Poggy's got sent to Mississauga etc. I was not questioning people who...

Thread for Outland LONDON, UK Applications!

Though i'm sure if they did treat married couples with more priority than common law it would have been a valid point, right? There are reasons why people get MARRIED it shows COMMITMENT and TRUST. So in my opinion I would treat married couples with more priority. No point going on, the...

There must be a reason some applications are being sent to Mississauga. No way can it be in discretion of the officer in charge processing the application. There must be a set process. And yes, honestly if the waiting time is really 12 months I might as well go come back and buy a house outright.

Might as well go back to UK, earn in British Pounds, come back and build a fortress during this waiting game. Better than earning in Canadian dollars.

I don't actually have a proof or article as such. A question though - is the location column "N" on the spreadsheet actually where the principal resides? Poggyb seems to have received COPR via processing in Mississauga though lives in UK? Can we ask what address they provided in the...

I believe the process changed recently. We could do a show of hands of those who quoted their UK address as oppose to those quoting Canadian and see the results? Perhaps an extra column in the spreadsheet?

Thread for Outland LONDON, UK Applications!

ALL. The reason why some applications are being processed in Mississauga is if the principal applicant states their residential and mailing address as one in Canada! If your not actually living in Canada you would have probably stated your UK address on the application form. If you are living...

@SchnookoLoly - hopefully the process gets a lot quicker in future. Budget cuts everywhere results in more work, less personnel. Hopefully the guys doing the administration get the support they need in processing cases.

Thanks ShnookoLoly. The FAQ's are very detailed, did you and Andrew both produce this? - it is very good! In terms of volunteering, I was considering this to keep busy on a few days of the week, and yes it's generally a good thing to do, but I've also read how Canadians may be put at a...

Thank you Andrew and for that almost instantaneous reply! The Abbreviations make sense, great thanks! Yep, I see a spreadsheet although confused as to how some application are able to be kept in Mississauga for processing if they are "UK applicants" surely the office should be London...

Hello ALL I am new to this forum and would like to ask a question or two, or perhaps a few more? First of all an introduction about myself: I am British Citizen married to my Canadian wife. We submitted an outland sponsorship application in February 2015 and have received 1st stage approval...
