Anyone knows the most recent timeframe for getting the passport stamped with PR visa? My passport just arrived at CPC-Ottawa on Feb 18. I am wondering if I can get my passport back by the end of Feb. Thanks.

Hi Diplomatru, There are two addresses indicated on the PPR email. One is a PO Box for applicants with Canadian addresses and the other is a street address for applicants with US addresses. Both addresses are associated with CPC Ottawa -PR. Would it be ok that I send to the street address...

Thanks, Diplomatru. I have emailed them. Would my email show up on the GCMS note? I guess that having it on GCMS note means that I did contacted CIC, but it does not guarantee anything when the 30 days have reached. Isn't it?

Nothing yet. I haven't received mine. Lol

It could be a mistake when they did the bulk update. Once his file reaches RFV status per GCMS note, then it means he has passed all requirements. I think the final review is sort of like a reading the summary of all the checking done by those junior officers.

I am also a December 8th applicant and got DM on Saturday. The dawn is right in front of us!

Anyone knows how long it takes to get the passport stamped and returned back with the permanent resident visa? I am an early December applicant and have not yet received RFV email yet. I have a travel plan, leaving Canada on Jan 30 and returning on Feb 17.

So, they say your passport should arrive at their office in 30 calendar days, correct?
