Got a Call from CIC not 2 appear for Oath bec of immigrat internal Verification

I am sorry to hear that happened to you. But it looks like you were caught in the red tape. ATIP is basically asking the CIC to send you a copy of your internal documents in your process of applying for Citizenship. They contain notes on your file and might shed some light to what you are...

No Oath Ceremony Scheduled for September

You guys don't need to worry. The same thing happened in August. I myself had my own ceremony not listed until days before even though I had received a notice to appear for my ceremony. Hope this helps.

I APPLIED WITH LESS THAN 1095 PHYSICAL DAYS…..anyone in the same boat? results?

Re: I APPLIED WITH LESS THAN 1095 PHYSICAL DAYS.....anyone in the same boat? results? My story is: My office was St Clair... I thought I had met my residency obligation, but apparently CIC re-calculated my days and I was short 7 days. How do I know that? After several letters to my MP. I...

Scarborough office / timeline after test

Guys!!! I had my Citizenship Oath today! After five years and two applications, I finally became Canadian. But let me share what happened: We were all seated inside, lots of people, at least 86 for that ceremony. We were all inside ready to start when the Fire Alarm goes off and everybody...

Every day before lunch and before dinner... And every time I close my eyes and open it just to see if they changed anything. Mind you, all my updates happened on a weekend. (??) So keep on checking guys!

I would do the opposite. I would write a letter to your Boss saying that you need to go for your Citizenship Oath.

An entry/exit stamp missing on the file on interview day! Please help

Why don't you request your entry/exits records from CBSA? It's free and it will help you to understand what they're going to base their decision on. (They use the same document to base their decision on your residence obligation).

    interesting test question

Hi there. The same thing happened to me. I was rejected first, and I had to re-do everything again. She needs to apply from the beginning. Make sure she sends a copy of the decision with her application. She will probably get RQed again. It happened to me, but this time around was so fast...

I agree with you. Specially the ones who were RQed (twice) like myself. Not having to run around and gathering around all the documents, printing and having to worry about your file is a huge relief!

May 28th,2015 Citizenship Test Scarborough,ON, PASSED, But SHORT on days????

Unfortunately, this happened with me. I took the test a while ago and after the Test I was RQed and had to go see a judge because they found out I was short on days. This happens more frequently with people who apply right on the day they become eligible. My advice? Always apply with a buffer of...

Scarborough office / timeline after test

Guys I may have an answer that might explain the delays in the Scarborough office. A lot of people from St Clair office have been taking their Oath in Scarborough. That explains why Scarborough always has a record number of Citizenship Ceremonies. I am assuming that's what causing the delay...

Is this true - You can apply for citizenship with less than 1095 days physical

This happened to me. I was naive enough to apply on the day of my eligibility and 4 years later to see the judge, my application was denied. Even the judge told me I should have waited a few more weeks to create a buffer - It was denied 4 years later.

Scarborough office / timeline after test

Well to be fair, on the day of the test, it did say in bold letters on the whiteboard: Oath in 2-4 months. But when I went to the interview it all sounded so reassuring that I left with the impression that I was going to get an Oath pretty soon.

I'm on the same boat. I took the test on a Tuesday, June 16 and status changed to DM on a Sunday. Nothing yet. The Officer was extremely pleasant and assured me that he had no concerns about my application. A RQ had been sent before. BTW... How can I include my timeline in my signature here...

Scarborough office / timeline after test

My invitation to my test was Orange. Only a handful of people and at a very odd time. On a Tuesday at 11:45 am. The interview was super simple. It was clear that the officer had his mind made up and just wanted to go through this formality. He was extremely pleasant though.
