Update on my file - just checked ECAS and I see my status changed to 'Decision Made', so everything must have gone fine with my US entries/exits :) Excited to receive my oath soon!! (hopefully!)

Nope, every time I return by car, they do not scan my PR card, just glance at it and wish me a good day. Now I kinda wish I had insisted on them scanning it or stamping my passport... it might become an administrative nightmare from now on.

I just passed my test yesterday and my application had been in process since January... so hang in there, it might take another few months ;-)

Passed the test this morning! Interview was a bit tricky, it looks like they had conflicting information from the US border about my multiple trips there during the past five years... I had to sign a paper that says I allow my immigration officer to get in touch with custom agents in the US...

FINALLY!!!!! After my umpteenth complaint of yesterday and 9 months after sending my application, I got my test invitation!!! August 23rd at *drum roll* 10:16 am :D When giving such detailed times, they better be on time :p They said to plan about 3 hours for the test, I'm taking time off work...

In process since January (Oct applicant) and no test invite yet - you're not alone! My friend who applied the same day as me had her test on June 21. It seems that they do send test invites... to very few people :/

In the same boat as you, except I applied one month earlier (app received Oct 23). No test invite either. I didn't even notice that Montreal didn't schedule any test in the past six weeks, which is kind of a WTF, but also phew, I am not the only one waiting for a test invite forever. Hang in there!
