Well that is odd that I can't use ECAS... on myCIC it says my background check is in progress...

I passed my medical on 14th and still haven't been invited to use ECAS. Anyone know why? Do you get a message on myCIC or are you supposed to just try and log in??

Another question regarding proof of funds. What date of the latest balance does my statement need to show? If I get a statement today but don't submit my application for another month will it still be valid?

If you never claimed the 600 points they would not reject your application. You never clalimed to have a permanent contract.

Re: ITA for FSW I am on an LMIA and currently working here, but my contract is not permanent (it is until February 2016) so I did not get the 600 points. It is not a 'valid job offer' in that sense. Definition of a valid job offer on the CIC website for FSW is very particular... @ sjrohit...
