w.r.t. IELTS validity, I dont think it should be an issue since your old passport number would be present in the new passport and you would still have the cancelled old passport with you. And logically its just proof that 'you' appeared for the exam. Not sure about PCC.

My point was about the wait employers have to go through if they use the Job Bank. I understand the point you are making. However, in my opinion, 7% unemployed workforce aren't tantamount to 7% qualified and competent workforce. Employers would be happy to hire qualified and competent workforce...

Its fair on CICs part to select candidates with more points. And certainly people with jobs. In my opinion, that was the whole point of changing the system. To have lesser burden. But the system is unfair because people like me(without a Canadian Job Offer), are left out of the competition...

You are right @Jkal. I couldn't find anything online that will confirm if we have to payoff pending loans or its okay to have them in our application. I think folks who have gone past this stage will have a clue. ???
