I got my eMedical done on 27th of July, and I was given an eMedical notification here in India. They asked me to send the hard copy to VO. Am I required to send the hard copy only, or scan of the same may suffice?

I received medical request on July 17th and went for medical on July 27th. The doctor over there, gave me a copy of the form and asked me to send it to CIC. So, my question is, should I send the copy of eMedical form by courier? Or sending it by scan will suffice?
