    11th Draw hopefully tomorrow

Glad to see some Russians here, which region of Russia are you from, mate? And why Ontario, it's too cold and too crowded. I would pick BC for this.

10th draw doesn't happen tonight as we all thought

I'm thinking the same. However, there always other side of the coin. If they are not able to meet the cap of 25000 migrants for express visa by the end of the year, then by the end of the year express points will be reduced and will reduced significantly. I suspect in such case in can go to...

    9th draw date

Totally agree, this high score should not be for very long time.

9th draw is over, 755 points needed 1361 invitations

It was artificial manipulation of score by CIC, I expected this. The government's financial year in Canada is from 1 April to 31 March. Also don't forget for CIC immigration cycle starts on 1 of May, so there was increase of applicants. Next one or two draw it will return close to 470. Let's see.

Discrimination against visible minorities in Canada

Look, I'm white (pardon here I don't want to be a racist). However, if I wear suit and tie and go to the shop I will get the same questions. Do not wear suit and tie when you do shopping. Just wear Tshirt and pair of jeans, nobody even will approach to you with stupid question. However, if you...

    points for nurse

Rigggght.... I agree with you to some point. For Canada foreign doctors, vets, dentist are equal to SevenEleven cashiers too and this is expected, however, I have strong suspicion that this category receive higher points for education, despite nurses, dentists, GP are in the same NOC health...

    points for nurse

This is bit confusing. Do you have any links or sources regarding this? Does CIC clearly say what do they mean "licensed"? Nursing is licensed occupation in Canada. It does require to pass serious exam to get permission to practice in Canada. Anyway, I'll appreciate if you have some relevant...

    points for nurse

She got 112 for education, it was calculated as With a spouse or common-law partner. However, my thoughts were it should be 126, because nurse is regulated (licensed) profession in Canada. ::)

    points for nurse

Hi there, Just curious how points are calculated for nursing education? We've got an assessment from ICAS stated that my wife is the bachelor of nursing, which is 100% correct, as she has bachelor degree in nursing. However, nursing is regulated profession in Canada, and as per my understanding...
