Actually I have a similar question. I am sponsoring my US spouse outland and when I received SA, the email said that the application had been transferred "abroad" for processing at CPP-Ottawa. Why are some apps kept for processing in Mississauga and others sent to CPP-Ottawa? Apologies if this...

We received SA yesterday! The application's been transferred to CPP-Ottawa for stage 2 processing now. Wishing everyone on this forum a speedy process. CIC received our application on Feb. 18th so that was 58 calendar days or 41 business days between application received and stage 1 approval.

Received AOR today, 4/10. Application received at CPC-Mississauga on 2/18. Will update the spreadsheet!
