Thanks so much for your reply. Just in case CIC still has a concern, I'm trying to get a new letter from the bank that is dated. Would you know how to send this new letter to CIC? Is there a way to submit it electronically?

We are still waiting for PPR (AOR March 19/ FSW inland). I got my GCMS notes today and have a question: Everything seems fine (eligibility passed, criminality passed, medical passed, R10 is ok, security passed). But when I read through the reports at the end of the notes, I saw that in June...

I called CIC yesterday but didn't get much information. The agent said that I will hear from them in the next weeks; A final decision was not made...

Yes. I had to provide almost the same info...except that instead of UCI, I provided my Express Entry number. The conversation I had with the agent was very short. I don't think they can access your complete file but just see very general information on what categories are completed/passed...

Is Doctorate(PHD) Degree Conferral Letter Mandatory for WES Process ?

I have a similar issue with my educational assessment: I got my Ph.D. from a UK university. WES requires a transcript but Registry does not provide transcripts for research degrees. I just contacted the department where I studied. They agreed to send my progress reports to WES. I hope this...

Proof of Funding for Post-doctoral fellow, required or not?

Hi Tanatos, Your information was very helpful! Providing proof of funding might be tricky...hopefully they accept paystubs and contract letters....my husband is working too (but on an open work permit/ without LMIA) so we do get enough money coming in every month; but to provide proof of...

Proof of Funding for Post-doctoral fellow, required or not?

Hi Tanatos, Thanks for this detailed reply. Your answer clarifies a lot. It's too bad (and does not seem fair) that postdoc positions are not counted as 'real' work. Since I'm in Canada with my family (husband and two kids), I have to provide proof of 22.000$ of funding. Did you get an...

Proof of Funding for Post-doctoral fellow, required or not?

Hi all, I'm in the process of applying to PR through express entry, I'm trying to prepare as good as I can for everything that's gonna come next. I read that you need proof of funding if you get invited through the skilled immigrant class (pretty sure that would be the one in my case) but it...

Help: Yukon Nominee Program or CEC

Thank you. I really appreciate your help. It might be really the best way to go with the Yukon nominee program. I don't want to risk loosing our work visas. My husband's employer will run the job posting for a month to get the LMIA. Do you know if we will apply right after that for the work...
