    Husband and I did test on Dec 6, 2013 and was advised by officer that notification of ceremony will be mailed in 2-4 months.

    Graduating in April. What do I do?

    I am due to complete my 2 year diploma in April 2007. I have been in Canada since November 2005. The CIC website indicates that I have to be in Canada for 2 years before I can apply for P.R. status. Is this really the case or can I apply as soon as I get my postgrad work permit? Thanks.
