Hello everybody, I landed three months ago in Toronto, I got my SIN ans PR card. Now I found out incidentally that my COPR was signed and dated but not stamped.( how I found out? I went for OHIP and the staff said my COPR is not accepted because it does not have an stamp on it. Probelm solved...

Hello, i have exactly the same problem. They accepted it for SIN but not for OHIP (health insurance). The staff I went to for health insurance said she can not accept it and I should bring her my PR card whenever it arrives. Please let me know what you eventually did. Thanks.

Yes, you are right. But recently I sent Ankara Visa office a few emails and they said immigration visa is valid on an expired or even cancelled passport along with the new passport. I heard in the past they asked you to send your new passport and pay again so the new visa is issued and attached...

I think bank statement should be accompanied by a transaction of the recent 6 months, the country I doubt has any effect whether it can be accepted or not while it's better the amount of money be written in USD or CAD equivalent.

Without a valid PR card, as far as I know you might need to ask for a "travel document" from embassy before going back to Canada.I do not know the exact rule for USA but this is the rule for most countries.
