can you tell the timeline? how many days after passport return?

how much time it took from submitting passport to DM, COPR update in mycici etc.

@ananthyog and I never got invited to the Permanent residence confirmation portal, We just got an email to confirm the current address. and COPR number was issued. no acction since one month after that :(

Can you tell more about the timeline, when did you got the passport back, got the COPR status update in mycic, what was landing procedure ,etc

Just assuming, Landing office should be in Canada only, Visa processing office can be outside. There are only a few landing offices. plus, email which asked for the current address was like "Etobicoke_landing"

I confirmed my address on 18th April, Still no news :( not sure how much time Etobicoke_landing normally take, I even called the call center agent, but no luck

Any idea how much time the Etobicoke office takes to send COPR/Landing email after DM and COPR update on mycic account?

Just got COPR updated in mycic. Parents are in Canada, any idea whats the next step? when will be the landing?

My reason was : father's PR application is under process, and had applied for Canada, it will be difficult to manage if he leave country at this point.

let me know if you have more questions on this. one thing to note, you have to apply 1 month before the expire of stay. visa will take 3 months, but you can continue to stay on implied status

CIC agent said it doesn't matter from where you apply. I think she was not allowed to tell how to make strong case :)
