Congrats! Make sure you describe the landing process after the flag poling. I'm also not sure how do you get a permanent residence card. Do they give you the card at the airport, or do you have to submit an application after landing?

That's a VFS global tracker. VFS global is a passport/application delivery service provider, it's not connected with ecas or mycic. You don't have to worry about it before you get your PPR.

Yes I'm sure it changed today, I checked right before posting the message where I said that the status has changed. I think the tracker will say "passport dispatched" tomorrow.

Status change emails are sent in a batch job the night after the the change, I think you'll receive it tomorrow morning.

Hey guys! Could someone please share timelines of getting the visa stamped through VFS global. I'm not sure if my tracker died or it indeed takes more than a week to stamp a visa into a passport.

I can't really comment on that, since I require a valid visa to enter Canada. But my speculation would be yes that will work since you are not sending original passports.

The local VO PPR will state the exact address of the local visa office at the bottom left corner. You would need to send your passports there. Unlike the original PPR which expires in 30 days and in my case didn't have the local VO address, the local visa office PPR expires in 60 days, so I...

I'm in the same boat. The local VO said to wait for the email from CPC-ottawa, a CIC agent said the same over the phone.

For some reason I though that the courier service won't accept passports from anyone else except myself or an agent. Am I wrong?

I'm applying from Russia, there was no address on the PPR to send the passport to aside from the one in Ottawa. I guess each country has different procedures on how to get passports.

This is true, ecas shows different dates, I don't know why.

I'd suggest you to call your local Visa Office, I think they have access to the system and they can either give you info, e.g. your request is in process or post a request to CPC themselves. I'm calling them tomorrow morning since they are closed for today in my city.

I have also dropped an email to the local visa office in my city, may be they can help out or at least provide some info. Will let you know on how things turn out.
