    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

This process sure has taken awhile for everyone, but I think it seemed extra extra long due to the slow and late release of OWP. When I applied in Sept.2013 the TOTAL time for step 1 and step 2 was 14 months. Actually sitting down and counting it has taken 18 months total for myself. That's a...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

We live relatively close to downtown Vancouver, so I am hoping it will be Vancouver. My husband didn't think to ask the agent.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Thank you! We usually get contacted via email, which is then followed by snail mail about week afterwards. But this time regarding this information, we didn't get any emails nor was it updated on the ecas. Looks like it will be by snail mail only. They're not very good about updating online...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

We don't even have SA yet, but my husband got a letter requesting more info, meds to be done, and to pay his RPRF. We sent everything in when his meds got done (Jan.13 I believe). Called CIC yesterday and they say they haven't received anything yet. We faxed, mailed (didn't ask for...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

That's fortunate. Ours indicated from May 1, 2007 to present. Which was one month prior to us getting married and they wanted proof of relationship and cohabitation from then. Our letter didn't indicate "Additional Information/Proof". Just Proof of Cohabitation, and Proof of Relationship...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Again, I think this depends on the officer. The first time re-entering Canada, my border agent made a point to tell us our implied status is now null since my husband left the country and thus has to keep a proof of landing that he must renew before the expiry and extend his status until he has...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

After we received our AOR, my husband and I have left the country several times for non-emergency reasons. You always risk not being allowed back in, but to date, we've been doing fine. We head down to the States every 3 months or so. We've flown to Mexico and Japan. He's from a visa exempt...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

My husband is from the States and we have either driven down or flown somewhere in the States every 3-4 months from Vancouver. Returning was only a little hectic the first time because leaving the country nullifies the implied status (before we had OWP). But aside from that, we have never been...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Just received my GCMS notes which are dated Dec.15/14. Regarding sponsorship eligibility, status: Not started. Even though the due date says October 4, 2014. They haven't even started on the SA part of my file. Whomever agent RC-9518 is, I hope they get a move on!

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Oh, and incase anyone is wondering, the OWP is Class 27 as well. And on the bottom it does note that we have a "PENDING FC APR" which I assume means we currently have a "Pending Family Class Application for Permanent Residency" that is still ongoing. So no SA or AIP.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

When we got our AOR (Sept.2013 applicant) and letter indicating that my husband had implied status we tried getting MSP. Tried several times after that a few months apart hoping different people might give us different results. Last try was 3 months ago, still no MSP. Which sucks because...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

So husband's OWP was issued Jan.2/15 under pilot program. Called CIC and was told it was mailed out Jan.5/15 and could take up to 6 weeks to get to us. Checked the mail today and there it was! So yay! Hope people are ready, things are moving along again. Husband is still in shock and doesn't...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

We were worried that the medicals would expire which is why we didn't do them. Now we regret that as it seems they don't ask folks to repeat them, and its costing us a little more time. But things seem to be trucking along with activity at CIC based on the posts this past week. Never know...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Since we didn't receive any information regarding his OWP we were worried that they had lost it or say that they don't have it on file, etc. That's one of the reasons we called and they said it was sent out on Monday already. So never know. I changed my address with them 6 months ago and they...
