    they said average 10 months which means in may 2011. but normally takes 5-6 months. status shows "Application Received" for last 2 months.

    thx for your reply, I sent my docs in early july 2010. How long they will take? they have given 10 months but average ottawa applicant's time is 6-7 months.

    hi, just think, when cic made a 38 occupation after SAP first time, they could have selected applicants from old backlog to fulfill 38 occupations and then they select the new applicants. e.g. if they need accountant (one of the 38 occupations) they could have given priority to old applicants...
