Does anyone know if I can land during weekend across Canada and the state? Does the CIC border for landing operate 24/7??

I wonder for those applicant who holds HK Passport ( visa exempt country to canada), do they really need to mail their passport to the visa office to process after decision made? or the applicant would receive COPR directly for landing.

I wonder if the applicant lives in Canada since the age of 16 as a international student and PGSW worker until now, Canada is the only residency since 16, does he still need to provide a police certificate from Hong Kong (where he born)?

So lellen, you re-apply from outland without they confirmed the inland application is cancelled? Do I need to wait for the confirmation of cancellation of my inland before I send in the outland application?? Thanks, Anna

So does outland application also have stage 1 approval that can offer a OWP for my sponsorer if we got approved in 60days (according to current processing time)

Sorry I am confused. So if we are approved for stage 1 in Jun 2015, no matter what OWP I apply afterward after stage 1, my sponsorer still need to leave? If we got approved in Jun 2015 for stage 1, and apply for the OWP at that time. Does that work?? I thought the implied status should be valid...

Is that really TRUE??? I never knew that we can apply outland if both of us are within Canada. If thats the case, I would consider to withdraw my inland application to outland with take shorter time.

Thanks Mike, if we apply an OWP but it is not approved before July 2015. Are we under implied status that he can state in Canada? (FYI, we didnt submit a OWP with the application) :'( :'(

We sent in an inland spousal sponsorship application on Feb 2014 to sponsor my husabnd. His PGWP is expiring in July2015. I am guessing we might get the stage1 approval in May or June 2015. So I wonder if we got stage 1 approval, what kind of status that he can stay in Canada after July 2015...
