    I did not call them nor did I sent them any emails. But, I am pretty sure they would say they are waiting for the officer to finalize my application if I had called them.

    I am an inland applicant. I think they extend medicals for inland applicants and ask for medical renewal for outland applicants. I am not sure if it is a general rule though.

    Finally I received the magical email. My AOR is October 9, 2015. Everything was finished from October 4, 2016, and I waited more than 2 months for the final decision. I hope everyone of you specially the ones who are waiting more than 1 year get their PPR before Christmas.

    Nothing. I called them again today. The same answer. You should wait for the decision to be made, which can be today, in a week, in a month, or more.

    eligibility in progress, bg in progress, medical passed. I called IRCC after seeing my profile updated, and the officer told me your bg check is done and the only thing remaining is the decision to be made. As per my GSCM notes, it was reassesed two months ago, and passed again.
