i expect the mail is just late for us and it arrives today. It would be odd to be separated for days... and expensive taking time off work. Life would still go on and bills still need paying despite the celebrations. As the primary applicant, my e-cas status still shows nothing new - still line...

Sure - it's only a problem if you let yourself get irritated by it. i swear when I sent my application the times were more moderate (ie, 8-14months). They can just change these times at will.. so easy to change the site based on how lazy they want to feel because they have no accountability to us applicants that they're doing their best.

yeh it sucks . LAZY ASS CIC is the only explanation i can give it >:( From www . cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/canada/cit-processing.asp : "The table below shows the processing time from receipt of application to finalization for 80 percent of cases processed between October 1, 2013...

LOL. thanks Pedros. the one guy who changes the site is on holiday???! 8) basically ECAS is useless if it hasn't been updated in 2 weeks and if you want to change your address, you're better off calling for that.

the quotas are for the first x applicants from the various categories for Immigration ie, PR. NOT for citizenship. It's first come first serve in the queue and then each case on it's own merit. eg. www . cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/2014-11-06.asp
