Same here man, a friend of mine applied on 7th nov and got passport request on 13th, I know i did a mistake in providing the proof of funds, I have given my pay stubs instead of a Bank Statement. Thats the only difference. Im not in rush so, took it easy. Update us when you hear from them...

Lol.. Special Friend doesnt work. Mention her as a girl friend or fiancee (if you guys are engaged or planning to get engaged). You should be able to prove your case also that she will be in canada for Visiting purpose only and she has strong ties with her country of residence. Good Luck
