Exactly same timing and situation here. My application was receieved on August 5th 2014. It's almost a year and no sign of test date, letter etc. what so ever.

Mississauga. The application had gone to local office in January, I was told when I called cic in February.

Application submit July 31 Received August 4th. Booklet received somewhere in October. Nothing after that. No test date, oath or anything. Called cic in April last time and was informed everything is 'normal' and 'in-time'
